Larger Exhaust Side for D55 - SRT Forums

How would a .82 effect spool and top-end power on the D55? I know it would just be an estimate, but curious what your thoughts are? Hopefully spool wouldn't increase more than 2-300 rpms, and hopefully I could pick up 20-30whp up top?

Isnt our exhaust side 0.60 now?

That sounds about right. The spool may be a bit laggier though, maybe 300-400 rpm. If you are already maxing out a D55 you may get 20-30hp more out of it. You may not pick much up at lower boost levels though.

So would I see any gains at 27-28psi levels, all things equal?

Possibly, but I can not tell you how much. No one has ordered a Delta 55/.82 yet.
