Default Just a lil problem heheeeheee

Well I forgot to add that damn ring and now wastegate is open, and its acting like an exhaust cutout basically. (Whats the proper way to install the wastegate valve seat??) cause either way it doesn't flush flat, theres like a 1mm gap... unless it gets forced all the way down when I tight the 2 bolts? Also I noticed the turbo wheel not spinning at idle but once I give it a lil gas it starts to spin, Im hooping that its not moving cause of the wg problem i have, witch actually kind of makes sence now that I start thinking about it since all the exhaust is coming out the dump and none flowing through the turbo so then the turbo is not moving cause there is lil to no exhaust gases to move the wheel.

just installed it and still the same results the dump still sounds like its open and turbo still doesn't spin freely at idle, also A/F looks like 15.5-.9 at idle im stumped the turbo only has 20miles on it

Something is definitely wrong with the wastegate install. You need to make sure you have the valve seat in the right way.

If your exhaust gasses are bypassing the exhaust system, then your air fuels are not going to be correct.

yahh its seated correctly there is no gap nor do I feel gasses escaping through the gasket around the WG however the turbo spins freely now during idle now

well after looking more I noticed there exhaust gases coming from the bottom of the manifold.. excessive amount like i fell a constant breeze could that be the problem?? i know I tight them bots up pretty good but ill be under there tomorrow and tight them up and see if that does the trick.. my only question is would having that leek there cause the WG to stay open at idle and wile driving?

No exhaust gasses should be escaping from anywhere besides through exhaust system (and the wastegate dump during boost accelaration). If it is leaking make sure to tighten all those bolts up so you can seal it completely.

update

all is good in the neighborhood fixed and my F up was that one of the studs was hitting the manifold and making it seemed to me like I was tighten, when I got under there and pushed down on the gasket at the head and mini I notices 2 things first the bolt/stud was driving it self to the manifold and second there was about 1-2mm space between the the gasket and mini and thats why I got the sound of a cut out. But now there is 0 leaks
