Default If you have a cracked AGP intercooler

Chances are that your intercooler is well over two years old. About two years ago, we added extra support braces in our end tanks that prevent the end tank from separating from the core. Anyone that has bought an intercooler from us in the last two years, your intercooler will never have this problem, so you have nothing to worry about.

Those of you whose intercoolers are more than two years old, you most likely have nothing to worry about either. We have hundreds of intercoolers that are even 4 years old, that are still going strong today and will never show signs of separation. Vehicles with factory turbos that run into surge consistently will eventually cause the old end tank to separate, (among other problems). Turbos like 57 trims and 60 trims that surge, will also cause the weakness of an end tank, and lead to separation (among other problems).

Here is what we're doing about it. We are not going to give lifetime warranties on race products, we never have and we never will. Some of you may think that anything bought from AGP should have a lifetime warranty and you think we are dickheads when we don't. To you, I say Grow Up. You are going to have a really hard time in life as you get older.

If you purchased an intercooler directly from us, and you have found that an end tank has separated from the core, we will repair your intercooler and weld the extra support braces FOR FREE. You have to get us the intercooler and pay for shipping. If you want the support braces for yourself so you can have your buddy the welder install them, we will ship them to you for free.

If you have purchased the intercooler used, you're not completely out of luck. We will perform the same modification to your intercooler for $100.

This is not AGP admitting guilt, or claiming that we have a problem with our early intercoolers. We don't have a problem with them, we are always making our products better as time goes on.

If you have an intercooler that has a separated end tank, please email sales@agpturbo.com with your order information, and we will get you an RMA to return it to us.
