The long tube which connects to the -6an on the turbo (closest to the head) I understand, but may not use.(I dont have stock SRT hardlines right now, but may put them on as I have some)
It's the other line I'm confused about. There's a NPT to -6an fitting, then a shorter hard line which should connect to it. It looks a little long, but the engine's not in the car yet. The banjo should connect to the turbo outlet closest to the firewall and then the blue hose should connect the two. Now, which port on the block am I supposed to use for the NPT fitting?
Currently I don't have any plugs in the engine(I'm building it). There are two ports for the water jackets which your fitting will go into, one one the driver side and one closer to the passenger side.
2) Is the v-band stuff stainless?
3) Do you sell an aluminum HKS weld on flange? I need to get one from somewhere to install on my IC pipes.
4) There's a drip in the ceramic coating right on the exhaust outlet flange. It's cracked a little, like it's going to flake there also. Should I grind it down smooth for the 4-bolt flange to sit flush or is it going to harm anything? I can get a closeup pic if needed. It's just the direction they had it sitting when they coated it that it made a little buildup right there on the sealing surface. I'm just scared to remove it and have it all start flaking or something. I don't have ANY experience with ceramic coatings.
The turbo LOOKS great, I just can't wait to see how it performs!

The -6 to 3/8" NPT fitting with the teflon will go into the water port on the block. The straight -6 line will connect to that fitting. The banjo line will connect to the back of the turbo via the banjo bolt.
In your picture I did not see the banjo line. I just want to make sure you have all of the lines needed.

Thanks for the call Jon! Sorry I didn't check back here sooner, but I was in the garage porting the oiling system, removing the oil cooler, etc. getting everything ready. I did put the SRT water lines on it, but I'll have to wait until it goes in the car to tell if they're going to stay on. I may not keep them if I have clearance issues, as right now I don't run the hard coolant lines on the current motor. If so, I may just have to make my own coolant lines. Oh well... I DO however, have all of the lines I'm supposed to have in the kit. I found the banjo line that wasn't in the pic. I was trying to test fit it and forgot it by the engine.
The drip did flake off when I touched it earlier, but it looks to be fine. I'll keep you informed if anything comes of it, but I don't expect there to be a problem.
Oh yeah, how about the HKS flange? I guess I'm just going to scan ebay and see what they have.
Erabbit, I chuckled when I saw your comment. Dont you already have one or was yours standard bearing? I thought you may have upgraded from the D65 though...
The purpose of ignition advance is to account for the lag time following spark ignition for combustion pressure to peak at 15 degrees AFTER TOP DEAD CENTER. A little fyi !
Looks uber sexy! Question though, is the V-band setup custom or something AGP offers? Or just a V-band setup from somewhere else. Can you fit a 3" o2 housing off that turbo without any clearance issues between wastegate or anything else?
I'm doing a larger turbo and had planned on selling off my AGP stuff, but if I can fit a full 3" o2 housing off the turbo then I may just change my plans. Thanks for any info!

The V-band is for the bottom of the O2 housing I'm going to make from a 3" mandrel 90* and 4-bolt flange I have. The 3" is a little too big to fit on the 2.5" 4-bolt T-31 exhaust flange, but I've done it before. You have to tack the pipe between the bolt holes, then dent it in some where the bolts go before welding. It takes some work, but I've had it work on an SRT4 and I'm doing it on my 1st gen. It will fit. You have to also make sure you leave enough room to get to the bolts or the 90* bend can be right in the way.
The v-band parts are from AGP, but it's a DIY thing because I don't exactly have an SRT, just close.
I'd have loved to have a v-band exhaust housing on the turbo also. It makes install and removal SO easy.

Not to take AGP's wind but when I asked ben about doing a 3in o2 housing he said it would NOT work because of clearance issues. I hope I remembered right...
