Default Borg Warner S258

Do yall offer this turbo in a kit? If so, how much for full turbokit and any type of specs would help me out. Have to decide on a good kit to make around 550hp. It's either that or a GT3582R and really not sure which one would be better to go with. Any help will be appreciated and will be ordering sometime this week.

I'm just waiting on a few more tests on it to see if it's a combo I want to offer. Initial testing shows that it's so close in power potential to the smaller, faster spooling S256, that it almost doesn't seem worth it for an extra 30 or so whp at 30+psi.

If you want to test one for us, I can put one together for you.

doesn't the S258 have a 62lbs/min wheel or something like that vs the 55lbs/min wheel of the S256?

It supposedly does, but we have yet to crack 600whp with it. We don't race compressor maps at AGP.

How much would it run me for the S258 kit? And how much would it run me for the S256kit?

I am strapping an S258 on my AGP turbo kit components in a couple of weeks. I can let you know the track results in comparison to the .48 50trim when I run it if your interested ben. no other changes so it should be a very accurate comparison because even the mani, 02 pipe and wastgate will be the same parts that you guys gave me.

The only problem is that the turbo you're strapping has nothing to do with being an S258.

how so?

lets be honest, its no different than it is your agp/turbonetics 50trim...you use a garrett turbine housing (and from what it sounded like in a pm from jon to me, a garrett turbine wheel instead of the F1 series turbonetics turbine), w/ a turbonetics housing/wheel.

its as much of a mutt as your 50trims are.

but the key thing is...it HAS the s258 compressor wheel. does it not?
