Post borg warner s256 dyno results

ok....its been a long day.....numbers werent what i thought they would be but i have never seen them match up like that before. it was 94 deg tonight at the dyno and i had just put my 18s on so.............

removed balance chain
aem cold air intake
180* thermostat
magnaflow exhaust
custom 3in downpipe w/boost activated cut-out

should it put out more power that a 50 trim? whats the deal with that?

Was this with stage 2 injectors? That sounds about right for that setup on a stage 2 PCM

power seems to come on late i thought these turbos spool up quicker.

He has 750cc injectors, stage 2 ecu. It looks like its fully spooled around 36-3700 thats not 2 bad

This turbo gains power exponentially above 20 psi.
I would highly recommend this turbo if you plan on running 24+ psi.

fwiw, i have 3 friends w/ the s256, and they all said full spool is at 36-3700.

yeah....it def needs 2 breathe better. full spool was at 3700-3800. ported intake mani and 62mm tb will b next. i want 400!!! it was really hot last night and i was on the dyno with 18s so i know the numbers are low. the car is quick tho.....really quick. this turbo has ALOT of potential.

mike is right... like always.. I am running this turbo at 22psi and it is not slow at all. More then my s3set up that was around 380-400 at da wheelz

what size AR is on this becasue there is another thread talking about how he gets full spool by 3000 in 3rd gear with a .55 ar on a s256.

Which no one believes him.
