I solved it..no quality control measures after drilling the holes where you cannot even start the recommended bolts. Sad in seeing this since most companies do provide bolts and checked the holes to ensure they can screw in...

You were not able to start any of the bolts you had in the manifold's threads? You are 100% positive that the bolts you were using are the correct thread type for the manifold?

i wrote down all the bolts listed in the thread they posted and went to menards and bought all of them,and every single one of them matched the new style manifold they have.everything fitted perfectly
