I thought I might as well get started now and have everything planned for later. I'm going to Iraq in August and when I come back (6 months) I'm buying a big turbo kit from you guys.
Now I've been reading up on your site and other site about big turbos and I'm convinced I'm going with u guys but I need help choosing. This is what I'm looking for.
Strong Power
Run Well Without Built Motor But Can Also Use A Built Motor In The Future
Good Decent Spool
Everything Possibly Included
A Tune If Possible
Reliability
Good Street Use and Occasional to Moderate Track Use
Most WHP On Pump BEFORE Using Race Gas Since I'll Be On The Street More Often, But I Do Use Race Gas
Now I have S2 car at the moment, nothing fancy, kinetic throttle body, dtec, 3 in intake and exhaust, bov, cc, wideband, etc
I'm stuck on the stage 4, it has everything down to the returnline that I need and I was going to go with the .48 regular 50T or the .63 BB 50T but Now Im hearing about this s256 (BW S??) turbo and I like what I'm seeing?
Now I first wanted to know what u guys think I should go with based on my wants for the car.
I also had a question about adding the s256 turbo to the s4 kit while taking out the 50T option??
Any help in helping me would be great. Thanks guys.

If you want the most bang-for-your buck on pump gas, with the option of bigger later, I would say go with the 50-trim, possibly with a .48 housing if you're on a stock head & cams to have a faster spool.
The s200 turbos are great, don't get me wrong, but they don't really start to wake up until over 20 psi. You're not going to be making good use of that turbo on pump gas.

Seconding the 50-trim .48ar housing. Quick spool, more than enough turbo to max out the stock pistons/rods.

Hmmm, I guess since its my first big turbo, I shud start light and go bigger down the road. I hear the .48 is about as good as the BB or is the $500 worth the extra spool. Thanks for the advice.

Ok another question is, what kind of boost controller and wastegates are good for this setup. I know they come with one of each but I hear there are better ones out there like the Tial Wastegate and i dunno someon mentioned an AVCR boost controller or something. I need something that will hold boost longer all the way to redline. Any suggestions?

Actually, AGP makes their own wastegate right now that I'm having really good luck with.
As for boost controllers, if you go manual, go with the Turbonetics one they sell.
If you go for electronic, the AVCR has some great options such as gear dependant boost. I use the eBoost, which I really like. There's other good options out there as well.
You may have to build the engine. Depends on you the driver/tuner/fucktard

Apparently that is all you have to do to make that claim.
AGP S3D 40lb, along with my long list of supporting mods, u wont be sorry! can u say
400+ whp! i can.
if your making 400+ with a 40 lbs/min i would love to get my 48 lbs/min slapped on and see what i can pull out of that!!!! can i see some dyno sheets of the 40 lb where you got 400+ please????
what does it hold it up to? now you got me excited
i vote for the 50trim/48.ar fast spool, and great for the street. i just put mine on with some 650's and i get full spool by 3200 running 21 psi on pump.
I'm surprised that with the money not really being an issue, that people are pushing the .48 so hard. I know what type of influx a 6 month will bring, and if you're willing, get the DBB. You'll lose only 1-200 RPMs of spool with the DBB, but you'll have a much bigger top end with the dbb over the .48. As far as expansion goes, when it comes down to later on, a built top end and upping the boost, the .48 is going to have trouble flowing that much air later on it won't be efficient, and the setup would be much better suited for the DBB. As for boost controllers, if you're going manual, get with a hallman pro RX, if you're going digital and you can understand it or know someone who does, go with an AVCR.
