We have signed a new contract with our credit card processing company and it now allows us to process credit cards from our Canadian customers.
As of this week (10/6/08), we've now been accepting orders via our website.
For ALL orders, we use UPS for shipping. Yes, there are duties that must be paid at the border. Yes, duties are expensive. No, we can not ship the package as a gift. I know it is a hassle, but this is the only way we will ship.
We have tried USPS for shipping to Canada, and it does not work at all. Because of how your postal system works, we can not track packages sent outside of the USA when we send via postal service. What this means is if a package is lost, we have absolutely no recourse to get a claim in. On top of that, we are limited by how much insurance we can purchase, so we are unable to insure packages for the full amount they are worth via USPS. The duties are cheaper, but it creates more headaches for everyone if a problem occurs during shipping.
