Default Anybody rockin a GT3082R AGP setup?

I have been reading alot on this particular Garrett DBB turbo and was wondering if any forum member has been running it with success? Any info would be much appreciated.

It's hard to compare a 550whp turbo and a 650whp turbo and say which one is better.

this turbo just did 561whp on a 2.5L WRX @ 34psi, 29psi at peak power.

That's it? It should do well over 600whp.

We make those numbers with a 3076R on the STis.

It's because it's never been a complete turbo. Back in the day, Garrett never had complete Ball Bearing turbos because they never had compressor housings or turbine housings for them. They allowed a select number of shops to do the development and testing with these Ball Bearing CHRAs. This is what we were doing in 1999 and 2000.

Over the years, Garrett has released different combinations with turbine housings and compressor housings. A lot of the time, we still have to machine our own parts to make a GTXXYYR work.
