Default AGP manifold dilemma...

I've got the 1st gen log manifold. I've had on and off leaks at the wastegate flange for a few years. Last year I had a leak because the gasket was shot. As I was removing the wg the outer bolt head snapped forcing me to take it to a local shop to have them extract the broken bolt. They ended up trimming the manifold and had to make due with this...

Its been find until recently where it started leaking again. Took it all apart and replaced with a new gasket. Still leaks.

I don't think there is enough torque on that end bolt to get the wg clamped down good. You can't see in the pic but that bolt is slightly bent so that it fits from underneath. And half of the head is chopped off to clear the manifold.

What are my options?

I'd like to avoid having to purchase a new manifold. Would the high temp silicone gasket paste caked around the base help with sealing up the leak?

To start I would suggest replacing the bolt with a new one if it is bent. Also make sure you are using anti seize on the bolts to help prevent them seizing in the manifold on future removal of the wastegate, turbo, etc.

If you are unable to get proper torque on the bolt that would definitely aid in your leak as well.
