Default AGP ECU track times, take 2

Well I got my axle replaced and headed back to the track to try and get some tack times with the ECU flash and 50 trim, .63 A/R. It wasnt the best weather since it was muggy and in the 80s, but the car ran half decent anyway.

I was on 225/45/17 BFG DRs with 18 psi in them. In 5 hrs I got 3 runs in. The first 2 were early in the night when the sun was still out and it was hot and the last run was 3 hrs later in the dark with much better air. Sadly I took too long to pedal the car and then missed 4th gear on my last run which would have been my quickest of the night. The only issues the car had were bad wheel hop at the top of first gear that forced me to pedal it each run, and then horrible AFRs in 4th gear.

The AFR was a nice 11.7 in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear and as soon as I would WOT shift to 4th gear the AEM wideband would read 10.0 the rest of the run and it was killing my trap speeds and a little bit of E/T. Anyway, here are the runs.

60': 2.067
330': 5.388
1/8: 8.013
MPH: 91.53
1000': 10.308
1/4: 12.236
MPH: 116.14

60': 2.034
330': 5.321
1/8: 7.911
MPH: 93.10
1000': 10.173
1/4: 12.075
MPH: 117.75

60': 2.027
330': 5.323
1/8: 7.898
MPH: 93.68
1000': 10.439
1/4: 12.676
MPH: 102.77

Between 25-26 psi. I probably should have run less, because the TCS was fighting wheelspin and then pulling a lot of timing down low. Maybe if I would have run less boost it would not have pulled so much timing and I would have gone quicker overall.

Its not like the higher boost was helping my top end anyway since for some strange reason the car was running super rich in 4th gear.

I wanna know what the hell happened in 4th gear. You were right there knocking on 11's and then you all of a sudden forgot how to drive. I should be one to talk tho...It's been 2 years since I was at the track and now I'm coming back with a completely different car & setup so it'll be funny to watch me run the first few times LoL.

I have no idea. I guess from standing for 3 hrs and then all of sudden being first in line the guy was just yelling to go. They caught me off guard on the tree too, dropped it immediately when I staged so I messed up the run pretty badly. After I missed 4th I couldnt get it past the gate for a bit either. I just hope it doenst get any hotter around here for awhile and I can try again.

Yeah you gotta work on your jitters LoL. You looked like a deer in headlights when they started yelling for you to get in your car haha. I wanna know why the hell your 4th gear was running so damn rich too. Something is just not right there.

Drop me an email for some updates. I don't think I've sent you a new tune in a long time.

Exactly, the car was running really really rich in 4th and just did not feel quick.

Yeah he should be. But he's getting horrible wheel hop at the top of first.
