Default Agp Boost leak tester??? posible?

anyone in here have a boost leak tester for their 3147 turbo? i went to home depot tried to make one, they dont have a size for it... 3" too big. 2 1/2 too small........
????

3" couplers should clamp fine to the turbo, but if you are using rubber PVC couplers you may need to use 2 3/4"

im trying to piece together a good leak tester for the D55, but having a ton of problems. Like you mentioned, the 4" pvc coupler is WAY too big for the 4" inlet on my turbo, plus even when i got it tightened, the set screw holes (4 of them) around the lip of the cover tend to push air out even with the coupler tightened.

So I will get a 4 to 3" silicone coupler, hopefully it will seal up ok, but then ideally I want a puck (1" thick, 3" around) of aluminum or steel that is tapped in the middle to screw in a compressor fitting or pipe thread, so i can run some piping elbows to a compressor fitting. I will tighten the coupler to this with a good tbolt clamp.

Got anything like this?

agreed blue, im having alot of troubles piecing stuff together on my d55....4" inlet is no joke!

I know the feeling I did one for my gtk.........the coupler you can get it on ebay.......get a 5-4 coupler & I'll work

Why is my AGP Boost Leak tester smoking? I think its bad. AGP your Boost leak testers suck!
