Default AGP 50-trim, SCT tune numbers

Just got back from the dyno tuning in my cams.

AGP 50-trim
AGP SCT tune
ported head
crane 14's
water injection
the usual bolt-ons

I just installed my ported head and crane 14's, so I had Kevin give me a richer map (my wideband is dead, so I didn't know what it was doing), then tweaked it on the dyno with my dtec, and will have Kevin get me a new map based on the dtec settings (the way it should be done )

20 psi

ok pit viper what is this your 4th/5th turbo this year lol. Seriously though out of the ones you have tried which one do you like the most for daily driving, favorite one for dragging. I'm looking for a quick spooling turbo that can hold it's power to redline. Don't care about numbers that much anymore but i would say i would like to get 400hp and 450tq as for a goal in mind to meet sometime.I have been looking at the 44lb s3d and 50trim 48ar turbos. Anyways good job with the setup! Looks very nice

I would say the Stage 3 Delta, with the 44 lb. wheel. I just couldn't find a flaw with that turbo. Fast spool, no surging, great power. It was an awesome turbo.

My timing was set at a safe 24, which is what I use for anything under 21 psi, as I'm most likely on pump gas. Above 21 psi, I bump the timing up to 28 for my race-gas tune.
Interestingly enough, later in the day I floored it in 4th on the freeway, watching my knock gauge, with 26 psi of boost. Not a bit of knock anywhere, and this is on 100 octane. I wish I'd done a pull at that boost on the dyno.

As for the spool, I had no idea what to expect, really, as this turbo is a new setup for me. I looked through the 50-trim dyno post in the Turbo section, and my dyno looks pretty good. I had my wastegate start opening at 15 psi to avoid any boost spike, which probably slowed the spool down a little as well.

What tune number are you currently running. I might have Kevin send me this one to try out. I was running 24 degrees timing advance and was getting quite a bit of knock with meth injection or c16 in the tank when I was on the dyno.

24 degrees of timing here, on a 50/50 of water/meth, and 100 octane pump.
