You got that off Nate right?

That is a .63 housing...somethings got to be messed up w/ the way you ran your vac lines.

Or maybe my ebc is helping me spool it a bit faster

Need info

puting a smaller a/r turbine housing will make it spool up faster
but you also add back pressure "alot" this will kill you top end and tend to heat your turbine and make too much boost down low "surge"
you are trying to create small turbo spool with a big turbo

this can be acomplished with a smaller turbo that will net you better gains

Iam aware of the complications, just sorta looking for some feedback between the two diffrent housings.

The .63 ar around my elevation is around 4000 so idk. So the spool for the .48 ar is a lot better

Yea AZ. and Tx are some what the same elavation and climate. If I punch it in 3rd at around 3.5k it wont start pulling hard till around 3.8k or so. (no brake boosting)
Iam not looking for crazy top-end power and also the Srt is gonna become my weekend car so a lil' surge here and there will not bother me.

I mean c' mon the stocker had ridiculous surging so iam sure the .48 wouldnt be bad at all.

Might be picking a .48 housing soon

Doesn't sound like your having any issues in all honesty...I bet if you hit the gas at a lower rpm it'll spool before 3800

Mine builds boost very easily...I commonly get 8-10 psi cruising around being fairly easy on the gas

'Asthe_skyfalls' dyno
3147 Turbo owners? Post your dyno and setups here.

Iam liking the nice power band towards red-line, with minimal mods

I really like the 3147 .48ar. Spools really fast for the power that I wanted. I wanted about 350whp initially, but since I have gotten the dyno done I am aiming for 400whp after my mpx fmic and dcr oil mod.

I'm not going to stop anyone from doing something. I'm just stating what we found in our testing. 3147 surges in a .48. Some people may not notice it, or some people may not be bothered with it.
