On a 95* summer day also~ and KR was at O*
Ive have changed a few things since the last dyno.
Next time itll be tuned with SCT and 28lbs, ohh and those numbers are on a stock bottom end. Just checked compression 2 weeks ago 150-155 all the way across
It's not always about hp. The correct power between holding hp and tq across the band and to be able to hook it will get you there. I run alot lower timing for my street tune. No water injection here. Maybe someday.
But it'll run on premium and drives better than new. Power comes on and pulls hard till at least 6500 rpm's. Aem 2 step helps you bang it off the line on slicks also. Got a WOT box now. Gonna put mopar short throw back in. The maddog doesn't always like WOT shifting. But it's a pleasure on the street.
Got a 50 trim here but not sure I'd like the power band. And I want the bottom end built first anyway. They come on all at once and hard. Pistons, rings, rods, and crank strap are my next projects when this economy and stuff equals out.
But I love the 3147 now. Maybe go for a race gas tune. Just load it with laptop back and forth between tunes. Damn summer needs to get here.
Last year's buy was non-modular clutch with steel flywheel. SBC Stage 5x. Great feel and grabs hard. Time below was with shitty DCR clutch. The first one. Lasted 1 track day. Pulled my DCR 2 replacement after they dropped lifetime warranty for no reason. If I can't trust it .. it's gone.
I'm 45 yrs old. Here is a big pic of my beast. It keeps me young.
My Tq was waaaaaaaaaaay high compared to my Hp, its nothing the DR's cant handle for the most part
I switched back to the stock shifter and WOT/2-Step help alot, havent used 2-step to much at the track though
Traded my stock shifter for the maddog....core charge. So we'll see how mopar one does. Too fast or little gate for WOT shifting at times. You seem to get hung up at times with one that has too short of throw. It's even set real low. We'll see.
Slicks all the way. Then you can launch it at 4700 or so on 2 step....
best in sig.......11.95 at 119.7mph on Dcr clutch banging off rev limiter twice ( he drove a bunch cars that day...some with 8,000 rpm limits ). I think they said other run was a 12.05 but he missed 4th. Driven by Rick at Realtune after Aaron tuned AEM. They had to replace clutch right after that with the DCR 2. I had to work that day...vacation was used up. I've just been playing with it on the street. Was a damn busy summer with fiance sick and stuff.
Now a WOT box and gonna put in new bov...Synapse Engineering Synchronic Blow Off Valve. See how it works. Supposed to kill any surging.
Got new M/T slicks right here beside me in my man room ( on PT Cruiser rims). Tire Rack carriers and a polished 50 trim on top.
Should hit 11.8's or better on a great run on pump. That'd be tits !! On Race with more boost ??? These little turbos run when you hook it.
