Angry Why me? New wheels got JACKED by the tire shop! (pics inside, long too)

I'm SO pissed off! Went to Sears Auto this morning to get an alignment done and get my new wheels mounted and balanced. I would figure that since Sears sells custom wheels (even sells the ones I have) they would know how to fucking mount them but I was WRONG. First off, the first wheel they did took two guys to do. I watched in horror as they used metal tools to pry the tire on the wheel on the machine. I sat and hoped to God that they didn't scratch the lip. They proceeded to do the second wheel, which seemed to work a little better for them. So as the guy walked away and came back I went over to him and asked him why it was so hard to do the first one. He said something about how the tire made it hard. I walked over to the two that he already finished to see if they fucked up the polished lips and my heart sank when I saw this...

My brand new wheels ruined by some guy that doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Luckily I stopped him before mounting the last two rims. I asked to speak to the guy in charge and he took a look at them and he agreed that they were fucked. I told him I'm gonna need two new wheels and he said that he has to talk to his manager. He doesn't come in till Monday.
I left the other wheel with them so the manager can see it first thing Monday morning. Mind you the wheel I left at Sears is even more fucked up then the one in the pics.

I decide to go to a local wheel and tire shop that does custom wheels on a daily basis (20" bling bling, racing wheels etc..). I explained what happened to my wheels, I even showed them the fucked one. He new exactly what they did wrong. Sears mounted them upside down. The wheel should have been face down and the tire should have been mounted starting at the back side of the wheel. I asked them to mount one so I can show Sears that it can be done without scratching just in case they bullshit me about giving me new rims. These guys did it flawlessly.

So now its the waiting game and Sears better give me new wheels. Good thing they carry Motegi and they can order them.

Sorry for the long rant guys.

That really sucks, but I'm sure you'll be getting some new ones out of Sears and all will be good.

i have konig holes and this decal came on all the wheels and they gave me an extra (this one) which i mounted in the glove box...........the pic is blurry but it states CAUTION only mount or remove the tire from the inside of the wheel...........they should put decals like this on all custom wheels so the morons mounting them dont screw them up..........

p.s. I don't ever go to sears for anything. As far as big chain stores go, NTB is usually a good bet for stuff like that... for future reference.

Key word here is "Sears". I hear nothing but bad things about them. Not to mention the occassional Sears Service Department news reports you hear about.

Sorry about the screwed up wheels. Good luck on getting it resolved.
