who's going to come out w/a BETTER looking CF hood than the IP2...
who's going to come out with a BETTER/COOLER/MORE BADASS looking hood than IP2 has!?(and maybe better fitting too )...but seriously....as great as some of the stock hoods are quality wise....and fitment etc wise....99% of them are like identical to or almost identical to STOCK appearance The kaminari is nice, but that still doesnt look as good as the IP2 imho, and the price is rediculous compared to ANY other CF one out there for the Kaminari. now, i know the whole point of CF is to shave some weight off the car, but to me personally(and i dont know about how many others feel this way) paying that $$$ for CF to go lighter weight than the original piece, i'd want to have something that LOOKS better as well. Right now, if i were to buy one...i'd still probably go w/the IP2 hood despite its slight fitment issures just because it looks badass compared to a stock hood. So I'm waiting on to see who's going to make a better one than the IP2.....
that's what i heard...i won't say any "names" of the hood....but i did hear that a new one was supposed to be coming out eventually...not sure when though....i'd love to see it! i love CBD's shit!
i would like to know...i wanna see a prototype design or somethin...i want a CF hood, but i want a nice design. The IPP hood looks badass, so i hope this new hood rivals that one. Any ETA on production & price?
true.same goes for any vendor though.The excitement of sectret parts coming out is great but it suck when you settle for something you dont like and something great comes out right after just like you wanted but you just spent your money that you have been saving for a couple months on the other one.
Only problem with the IP hood is when it rains, the drive belts get wet and squeel (Which is quite embarrasing) and the engine gets covered in muck...Other than that it is the best looking hood....
Call CBD, they'll tell you they have one in the works and Dom told me they were expecting to release more info or maybe the hood some time in the "near" future- maybe the hood will be ready for sale in time for X-mas
