yeah i tried doing that and because the fiberglass on them is so thin, i'm afraid i'll start cracking the paint or snap the eyelid itself. they are very soft and not very sturdy. it's ok $40 for some primed eyelids is pretty cheap to me. and turbomopargod charges a very cheap price in painting them. the total price is still cheaper than to get it from somewhere else where it's already painted for you.

Let me share with you my secret for how I removed the eyelids without even pulling on them..... They are sold with a thin foam double sided tape, what I did is use a razor blaze and actually slice through the foam, just lift the eyelids up enough as you cut the tape. I just used apray adhesive on the back side and stuck them on the new highlights. Saved me a hell of alot of work.

the intercooler is from TurboXS, but was sold through SS Autochrome shop, cost me $220 shipped. i don't remember the dimensions completely but i always do remember that it is a 4" core lol, thick as hell.

Turbos painted my eyelids and my clear 3rd and my sidemakers and my center bezel and my vents and soon some led tails and other stuff if I decide whats to go to him to be painted. I think both of us are his two favs for customers on here.

well i'm not sure if we are his favorite customers but he is making some money off of us.

THats so true and love your ride love the front badge and wow does yours look low love the front also . I think its the 1st time I have ever seen your ride. Black housings will look awesome with some of turbos painted eyelids . What do your tails look like tinted or not or black leds.

the front badge was done by Billet Technology. they also did a flat black punisher shift knob and flat black punisher 12V delete cap. my tails are stock at the moment. i use to have all red tails but i noticed that when i went in reverse, the light output pretty much looked red and looked like i was braking. so i finally bought some 5V bright-as-hell HID LEDS for the reverse lights, put them in the red tinted tails and the light output still sucked, so i went back to stock and the reverse lights look like this:
