Darksyde's work is def one of the best I have seen. I have some stuff he has done. I also have a local that does a lot of my stuff. I will post what I've got sometime soon.

How do you get the letters on top to come back out? Do you hand paint them?
Two-stage coat process. Base color is what you want the letters to be. Second coat is the valve cover color, and then you painstakingly wipe clean the letter tops and rebake. What you are left with is this: ![]() That one took me an entire weekend, first day to coat in black, then the next day it was cured enough to recoat and bake a second time. I've done it before. It's a PITA, and lots of cussing in my garage when stupid little lint gets into the powder.. I want to do it to my SRT-4 valvecover, just haven't decided if I want black w/ red letters, or red w/ black letters. For my intake mani, the first thing I'll do is just media blast them nice and clean in my blast cabinet. It'll look new OEM. I want to get a second manifold and polish it after seeing a local socal SRT-4 member's manifold done that way and he did a great job.
