I wasnt sure if by moving the bumper back and up that if you had (as I will) the magnaflow muffler if the larger section would be closer to the rolled up portion and cause it to melt. I havent seen the exhaust or a rolled bumper in person so I was just curious, hopefully it will not be an issue and I'm sure I'll find out soon enough!
No, I don't have any muffler unless you count the generic 18" resonator that I installed behind the cat. there is nothing under the back of the car except 3" pipe and the 4?" tip.
Needed to bump this back to the top. Anyone with single tip exhaust or side exit exhaust needs to look at this. The pics by calcu on the first two pages explain it best. Cheap, quick and looks good.
i think this would look hot w the a single muffler exhaust that comes out at an angle kinda like the supra's muffler does. but i also like with the dual tips
Ok, finally was able to get some more pics. As for a how to, it very easy. Remove the push tabs that hold the straps and pull the straps up like the 2nd pic and use some bolts w/ washers to hold them in place & your done,
One more bump on this; The photos above from calcu show it best, no need to go thru the whole thread again. Simple, quick, cheap and can be returned to stock. One the best welfare mods ever.
My single tip magnaflow exhaust is supposed to arrive tuesday, dont know when I'll find time to put it on, but I should have mine done with pics by next weekend, we'll see how it looks.
