Calcu; Thanks for the idea and the photos. Just did mine, must have taken all of 20 minutes. All you need are two 1" long 5/16" bolts, four 5/16" (or 3/8") fender washers and two 5/16" nuts. The only tools needed are a screw driver to pry the push fasteners from the straps on the bumper cover and a couple of 1/2" wrenches to tighten the bolts. I had all the parts in my junk box and was amazed at how easy it was to roll the cover. Now my Exhaust Depot single 3" turboback doesn't require the fake outlet on the passenger side. it took me longer to remove the welded in fake outlet than it did to roll the bumper cover.
Must be an optical illusion but the car looks lower and wider from the rear now.
Above is all you need to complete rolling the cover. Don't even need to jack the car up, on your back in the driveway works fine.
Hell Yeah, I just ran across this yesterday and did it today, thanks for the idea, worked great, I used 1/4 inch bolts and nuts with a 5/16 washer, worked fine!
I was at the meet at Vans Auto Parts in Austin last night, must have been 7-8 SRT-4's, nobody had heard of this mod , my car was the first anyone had seen. Of course only one other owner there last night admits to being on these forums. Judging from the reaction to my car I think we'll see a lot of Austin area SRT-4's with rolled rear bumper covers. Amazing how much a cheap, quick welfare mod changes the appearance of the rear of the car.
dam my rolled up bumper idea is catching on i see, if you want to make it look better get flat black spray paint and due the whole under side to give it a better effect, also you dont have to worry about the paint chipping at alot its very flexiable
I'm on the bandwagon. I liked the look and did it yesterday. Thanks for thinking of this! It's a lot easier if you use a jack to hold the rolled section up while you put in a bolt.

The mod is cool.... I like the look.... BUT, I'd be concerned about the plastic stretching and the paint cracking... I guess time will tell..
Oh, the main reason I replied to this thread... It appears that you have directional tires on your car but the left rear is facing the wrong way. That' could be exciting in the rain... Better check your fronts, too....

did anyone answer the question posed by scott at maxxfab who I think mentioned with a single tip exhaust the muffler might be very close to the rolled part and cause it to melt or warp? whos done this with a single tip and muffler?
Mine is a single tip, the big tip from E.Depot, the clearances are exactly the same on the top and one side as they have been for over a year, the other side is now open. How could I be losing clearance by moving part of the cover away from the tip? I will probably have less heat buildup since there is more airflow now.
