Default For Wheat Burner...

ok, I must apologize for last night, if you want details (and I provided a lot of them!) go check out my thread in the maxxfab vendor section ( 3" single tip! ) and you'll see what all happened, but that explains why I didnt post last night. but hey, I'm here now and as was promised, i said I wouldnt post in here again til I had this done, and its done, and I have pics, so without further adieu....

Personally I think it looks great, the muffler does seem to be a tad crooked, however, and I'm not sure yet what, if anything, i'm going to do about it. you cannot really tell from normal angles, but when you're down eye level with the bumper you can kinda see what I mean. otherwise, i give a review of everything in the maxxfab section, but in brief, im very happy with this exhaust even after just driving with it for maybe a half hour. it really is quieter than stock, but at wot you hear the turbo scream and its beautiful! no fart can sound in the least, just a nice deep mellow tone, just what I was lookin for! now if my sxt wing would just arrive I should be done with my semi-unassuming look and be one step closer to my ultimate plans for this car.

I'd love to see this done with a MPX exhaust.

You can't really see it unless you get down on a knee, but yes if you do get down that far it doesn't look that great but I do like it. Plus I'm thinking I'm going to do the wellfare exhaust.

you have to really squat down to see it exposed that bad , I ran mine like that for a few weeks and actually really liked it. some black header paint on those pipes and it'd all dissapear underneath

I'm going to bump this one more time, it doesn't seem to want to die. Now you don't have to go back and read 10 pages. Almost 10,000 hits so far!

I've run calcu's pictures again since he's the only one that shows the existing straps that need to be bolted up.

you could always squat / crawl under the car , locate the "mounting holes" and take a few different objects , pencil etc. etc. anything you can find with slightly different diameters , find something that fits the spot decently , and once you find something that's a pretty decent fit , take that with you while getting your bolts
