Default rear spoiler removal?

I know the spoiler is somewhat functional, but does anyone here who has taken the spoiler off notice any difference? what i'm worried about is high-speed performance.

I didn't notice anything really. Highspeeds like 80+ feels the same as ever. Otherwise if there is a difference it isn't that big. It won't bring your car afloat or shaky at high speeds or turns.

I took mine off and my car feels like it slips through the air better on windy days. Because theres not a giant billboard stick out of my trunk probably.

Yea same here, plus im dropped meaning so im lower to the ground. Better stability and such. I ain't like a truck jacked high anymore.

i had eibach springs but i took them off because of ride comfort. my back was starting to hurt and the car gave me headaches and everyone else riding with me. maybe i should have went with coilovers but yea.. thats costly.

i like the way the car looks with it, but i havent seen too many srt-4s w/o it. all i know is that it feels heavy. it DOES block some light from big trucks behind me =)

I've read in a couple different threads on this site that the only time that the stock wing is really functional with "down force" is at speeds of 120mph+... So unless your doing that i wouldn't be worried.

stop beating a dead horse. I just read an 8 page thread on this same topic.

it makes NO noticeable difference unless you plan on hard cornering at like 70+, and if you plan on doing that, a spoiler would be one of the last handling components to be thinking about. But if you're worried about straight-line stability, go ahead, keep it on. Or get a PVO spoiler and go for the spoiler-less look and still get like the awesome whole 70lbs. downforce from either.

Oh, and if eibach springs hurt your back and gave you headaches....good luck with coilovers.

Hey Kup@l what kind of exhaust are you running in your avi? Looks like the maxxfab single exit.

I have eibach sportlines, ride comfort is a bitch but i get used to it. I also keep notes of the roads with pot holes so I can avoid them.

P.s It is custom, I had 3inch catback piping then a custom bent 3inch Apex N1 universal. It is quiter than stock but, WOT it is more throaty and STILL crackles and pops. I'm waiting on my maxxfab catless dp and o2 so yea.

Oh that sucks. Well yeah definitely steer clear of the coilovers, even w/ the BCs on full soft its still stiffer than stock, but I'm rollin full stiff in the front and 15 in the rear...my girlfriend says my car makes her bewbies hurt.
