I am sure some of you know that I did some body mods to my car to fit bigget rubber under the fenders. I stretched the front and rear fenders gaining over an 1 1/2"s of tire clearance on the front, and about 1" in the rear.
Not being satisfied with the rear, I am always looking for something that will flow with the Nsrt-4 body lines. Well I think I actually found a design that will work. The picture I am posting is the final body work that a toyota team is doing for the BTCC series. Tell me what you think.. Last edited by manny z; 12-23-2012 at 12:07 AM. |

It is something I have been thinking about for a while now. I would like to start by getting a 1/4 panel from dodge, and work on it, instead of having my car spend more time in my garage.
![]() This is very similar to what i would like it to look like when done. |

If you do the same flat styled sides, and not the 'hellaflush' angled style it will look a lot more professional like you probably want it to look like.
I think the toyota style is best |

I would go the route dicksrt went imo. His outcome is completly flawless. I'm sure you seen his car.

Like I said, it is just an idea for now. I agree dicksrt car came out looking really good but, I unlike most people here in this forum like to use MY ideas, not just copy someone elses or jump on the bandwagon with crap that has been done waaaaayyy to many times that look like shit, like this hella flush stupidity. If I do this to my car, it will be for 100% performance gain, not looks. |

Liking the the Toyota version...agreed that it would flow with the body lines of our cars, but notice this flows into the rear door also, which in my opinion, is the way it should look!

Where is this 100% performance gain, and what is this biggest tires you using? Just saying
Going against the grain hurts, and cost more $. Nothing wrong with copying, just as long as you don't claim it, as your own! All this is just an idea for now. The performance gain will be by getting more rubber on the ground. But i know with much bigger rubber comes the addition of other parts so I will not get any issues, like hubs. I am on 255's now. Going agaist whos grain?? I don't copy anything... Last edited by manny z; 12-24-2012 at 01:06 PM. |

[QUOTE=Racerxvsspeedracer;9732595]I seen you two think the world is round in the other thread.
It's not... WTF?!! ebonics much?!!! I haven't seen any quality parts, come from Manny. < Not even going to comment on this cause, My customers do my talking about my parts. And when the weather gets better, I or Doug would be more then happy to come out with our slow ass cars and do the talking where it counts, on the track. In the mean time this is my thread about an idea about changing and improving the rear 1/4 panel on these cars. So do me a favor, if you want to come on here to talk shit, go talk shit in the mirror cause he is the only one who really give a shit what you say.. |
