Please keep in mind though that for a cage to be "legal" for track use, it has to be TIG welded.

hmmmmm i didnt know that. that kinda sucks for most do it yourselfers.
how did you modified your seats to put the 4 point seat belt, how did you made the holes and did you make the plastics of fiber glass or plastic ?

He either has an ACR (those are std equipment) or he bought the CBD harness locators. Go to the carbon by design website and look for them under the SRT-4 parts. They offer fiberglass (very good) and carbon fiber (more bling than needed).

From what I just read in the 07 nhra rules if you use mild steel (as long as it is the correct diameter/thickness) you can use approved MIG welding. Here is the excerpt.
All 4130 chrome moly tube welding must be done by
approved TIG heliarc process; mild steel welding must be done by
approved MIG wire feed or approved TIG heliarc process.Welding
must be free of slag and porosity. Any grinding of welds prohibited.
