Default Pics of strut bar

Here is a couple pictures of my strut bar. I painted it with Dupli-color Metalcast.
I used the silver base coat and then the blue anaodized. I cant believe how good it looks form a spray can. Going to try it on the valve cover next. Looks like a good cheap option to powder coating.

Finally got around to the valve cover after a couple months.

For fun

It should, this is from their web site:
METALCAST™ is heat resistant and can be used in high heat applications such as engines and brake calipers. METALCAST™ is available in five popular colors including yellow, blue, red and now in green and purple!

The only reason I got snow on is because I pulled the car out of the garage so I could paint the bar. Its hardly been out since the beginning of last month. Weather sucks, oh well it keeps the miles down on the car.

I finally painted the cam cover and the heat has no effect on the paint.
New pic on top post.

Damn, that turned out pimp.. Yup, I'm going with the red metalcast duplicolor paint for mine!! Good job!

Did you use flat silver for your base coat, and was that the metalcast paint too, or just regular primer??

Thanks!!
