Default Ok, I give up: bluing on B-pillar trim

As the title states, I give up. Who's got the secret to keeping their b-pillars looking purdy. I can keep the bluing off but they still kind of look like crap. I've used cleaner wax, Meguire's paint cleaner/polish Zaino all-in-one, nothing seems to do the trick well. Any suggestions would help greatly.

Sand 'em and paint 'em. That'll solve the problem permanently.

You know, I use back to black on other trim, never thought to use it on the pillars for some reason. Didn't get a chance to try anything this weekend but I'll be trying the Turtle Wax stuff and my back to black today. Thanks for the help guys.

Back to Black really only makes them look greasy and smeary. The B2B is meant more for the cowl panel, window trim (belt mouldings) and stock mirrors. B2B works best on that type of textured plastic.

B2B worked better than anything I've used before but you're right, it does leave it looking kinda greasy. I'm going to get the Turtle wax stuff you recommended and give that a try.

I use back to black as well. Then I rub the shhhh out of it with a towel and it takes most of the greasiness out. And it stays black.

I use Turtle Wax "Ice". Goes on clear, without the leaving a white residue on the rubber or plastic trim. You can even use it on rubber & plastic.
