I was thinking about blackening out my tailights but i was wondering if i were to not want them anymore. could i take it off. If so what takes off the nightshade stuff?.
Yes, you can take it off. The safe way to do it would be to wet sand it off then buff it when your done. Plenty of chemicals will also remove it but dont get to harsh or it will eat the plastic as well. Acetone or mineral spirits will probably be ok.
If you're thinking that you may want to take it off at some point then I sure as hell wouldn't go the nightshades route. I'd use the film instead. Peels right off with no visible trace.
i tinted mine just in case i wanted to take it off...
they look good to me, i think i got the same effect as nightshade. when i change my mind about them i can just peel it off.

Soon to come: MPX 3in TBE(Just bought. cleaned my bank account out. oh well. cant wait), BFMIC, Bigger injectors.
I tinted mine but did them too dark (got pulled over 4 times in 1 hr by 4 different cops). Brake cleaner takes it right off and didnt harm the lense at all.
