Default New Crash bar?

I'm posting this question in here because it's the closest place to body modifications on this site. What I want to know is, has anyone gotten a new crash bar on their car to make room for a bigger intercooler. If not does antone know the schematics for it so as I could possibly fabricate one that is stronger. I need to know strength and mounting info. as well as I would like to know crash ratings in pressure per square inche.
