Default which hood should i go with???

i'm trying to decide between the Seibon GT hood or the Carbon By Design with the extra air vents on the side hood. i really like the seibon but i've heard the quality isn't that great. idk i just need outside opinions. people that have these hoods would help greatly.

I had the cbd air induction hood on my acr and it fit nicely but in my op the seibon is the best and I think marakka has it on his custom blue srt4 pm him about it.

The CBD unit doesn't fit very well at all based on the two I've seen installed in person. And not in a way that can be fixed with adjustment. The shape/profile doesn't match that of the fenders (it bows upward in the middle).

I can say that everyone of our hoods does fit perfect. I look at every mold and hood that comes out of that mold. I as well have installed and fitted 100's of hoods myself. Show me a picture of one that you think does not fit and I will let you know how to adjust it.

We think both hoods are very nice. It will come down to your taste and how you want your car to look. You will find people that will talk both good and bad about both hoods. Speaking for CBD I guarantee our hood fits and is made of the highest quality. Feel free to call me with any questions or concerns you may have. I am always here for everyone on this site.

Not gonna knock your hood cause ive not seen one in person, I actually wanted one of your induction hoods.

But.... I currently have the Siebon GT hood. Got a killer deal. It looks awesome, all the vents on top gives the car an extremely aggressive look. And it fits very well, ive yet to fine tune my adjustment. We threw it on and went with it and it still fits pretty damn good.

I can say that every one that I've seen in person does not.

I will get a pic. there's no way to adjust for a mismatched profile. The shape of the hood simply doesn't match the curvature of the fenders.

You willing to slap that guarantee behind my hood that bows up in the middle?

That's exactly the problem I've seen with every single one. There's no way to "adjust" fitment to fix that issue either.

Why don't you post up a pic so we can all see?

I'll pm you pics tonight. It's an induction hood. And its old, one of the originals. And since I bought it, it's never fit just right. Neither has just about any other that I've seen.

The first one made. Fit perfect than and still does now 4 years later. There is a gap difference on the passenger side but that was due to new fenders that where not adjusted before the shoot. I have had 5 different customers say the same thing you are and we have got everyone to fit just fine. Three of them came here to us and two where by pics and over the phone.

mine looks and fits nothing like that. The induction scoops are different, they wont hold wax ever. and it bows up right in the middle of the fender. i have tried to adjust it a million times, and it's never good. the hood was never right. I'm going to buy a seibon GT hood to replace it this winter. I'd love another induction hood, but i'm not paying 1000 dollars for another hood that doesnt fit.
