Default grip tuning mesh hood,wats it worth?

ok iv got a chance to get one of these and the guy said it was 1 of 25 made.its in good shape and i was just wondering wat would be a good price for it.i dont know if im getting a deal or worked over.any info would be appreciated.thanks

its the one that is stock shape, but is perforated, the company who made it ended up selling the few they made for cheap because no body wanted it, and now word has spread and people pay big bucks for them lol

I saw an SRT owner with one at the ledgewood meet here in Jersey. It was pretty sick.

I sorta remember that some people had issues with this hood at high speeds . Perhaps that issue was exaggerated , or fixed . That was years ago .

also, any chance they may produce another set of them for a group buy? i'm sure there is some demand on some of the other srt boards as well.

the guy who has it wants a stock hood and $300.is that to much.i dont have a stock hood so ill have to find and buy a stock hood and then add $300 to it.

FML, i knew i shoulda hung onto mine. I bought mine on closeout from Grip for $300 and sold it to a local a few years back for $300...

I would love to have one but i would be worried about the air flowing in at high speeds....this thing prob kills gas mileage

cool looking hood for shows and whatnot, but unless you have a silver I think it looks a little strange, even painted.

Also, rainstorm = no no and have fun recleaning your engine every few days. I didn't notice a huge difference with high speed drag or whatnot, but it has been a few years since I had it. I think the holes are small enough that air at higher speeds just flows over them for the most part as if the hood was solid. The cooling factor was kind of nice though, I think my car idled maybe 10* cooler with the Grip hood on it.
