Remove 2 screws in each wheel well (near the front of the tires).
Remove 5 screws along the bottom of the bumper.
Take out headligts.
Remove 3 screws behind each headlight. These connect the bumper to the body.
Remove the 3 screws on the top of the bumper.
Pull bumper down and forward to remove.
Disconnect the foglights, and side marker lights.

Since it is your first time it should take about 45min.
The screws behind the headlights can be difficult.

It very easy. 4 screws on top. You'll see them when you open the hood. 3 bolts on the inside of each fender (remove headlights and you'll see them). 4 or 5 screws on the bottom of the cover. That's it.

Good luck.

I did it about three weeks ago for the same reason. Not hard. I'm doing this from memory but it should get you close. Take out the three screws in the wheel well holding in the black plastic well cover. They run around the front of the wheel well. Then, if I remember correctly, there are three bolts that hold the bumper/cover onto the frame. Two are easy and one is harder. The hard one is way up in there and a bit tight. Look/feel around you'll see them. Once ya have those off (BOTH SIDE OF CAR OF COURSE) unscrew the obvious screws in the engine compartment and carefully remove said cover. Take your time and I'd say 1 1/2 hours tops. Oh, and in hind sight, it would be easier to remove your wheels, although I did not. But if I had to do it again I would.

its not bad. the only slight hard part is the screws behind the headlight. a racheting wrench really helps with that. I believe they are 10mm.

i managed to do with without removing the headlights but u have to have some skill in sticking ur hand and tools into a dark hole and finding the nuts. I went from the wheel well, pulled the plastic lining out the way a little (two plastic clip things holding it down) and then stuck my hand in there.
