Was wanting some new taillights and the ppl's mopar 3d's painted to match their car looks badass. I wouldn't trust myself to paint them without effing them up, so does anybody know anyone that paints them that would paint some for me? I know it's a pain in the ass to do this so I wouldn't expect them to do it for cheap.
I painted the silver things black and red out the clear parts on my 3ds just a few weeks ago not that hard to paint and you can just buy some red or black tint film works awesome. yeah turbo does some awesome work he has done my center benzel and vents and eyelids and fusebox cover and 3rd brake light and sidemakers and oil cap.

Do you think you could post of a pic of what the finished product looks like?
did mine a long time ago, sold them since. Went to a Maaco. Charged me $50
Looks like they did a good job too...but idk about the maaco in my area...i've seen some pretty crap jobs by them. But i'm sure just about anybody else could do them. Pretty much all you have to do is tape off the red, right? Since it's not on the inside?

But yes all you would need to do is tape off the red portion of the lines, sand everything down and then spray your base and clear.
Ok thanks for the help. Has anyone ever heard of the 3D's being painted and then the red light portion tinted?
I had some 3ds a yr ago that were tinted all but the clear parts. Would look pretty sweet if you had someone paint yours eblue and tint the red parts and leave the clear alone. I think crystal has a tru fiber mini cuda hood that is pretty rare seeing they dont make anymore.

yeah I was thinking about getting them tinted, but I just can't picture it in my head what they would look like...so I can't decide
I tinted my Mopar 3D tails years ago, they aren't painted to match but you get the idea:
I preferred them nightshaded rather than red. Especially on the black. My hood is a Tru Fiber Mini Cuda hood as Holly stated, which is no longer made. Thank you
