Default Dodge Neon - SRT-4 Door Post Restoration-Protector Kit

eBay Motors: Dodge Neon - SRT-4 Door Post Restoration-Protector Kit (item 350066156905 end time Jun-08-08 11:24:01 PDT)

Has anyone tired these yet? I thought I saw a thread on hear recently about them but just can't see to find it. Don't want to waste my $$ on them if they don't really work.

I have colormatched mirros and soon to come color matched C-pillars. Not looking to color match the B-pillars but would like them to be a real nice crisp black to go with the rest of the theme of my car.

they look like a clear vinyal overlay that chevy does on some of there trucks in certain spots. I bet they would work once u painted your B-pillar covers u could use them to make them protected.

Has anyone tried these yet?

yeah it was a thread i started about this same product, i never bought it, i didn't want to be the guinea pig lol, but i did buy Back To Black and tomorrow i'll be trying it out.

From what I heard and read, Back To Black is the best thing to use on the B Pillars. I just can't believe that by just applying some InvisiGuard Vinyl on the B Pillars, that it will look that good.

See the problem is, our door pillars are ANODIZED metal strips. They aren't rubber or plastic. So rubber lubricants like Armor-All will just wash off after a wash or rain. And rubber/plastic dyes will not adhere and do the same.

The best thing to do is A) Paint them or B) lay black vinyl over them or C) clean them up and use that clear vinyl.

lol when it stops thunderstorming over here in MD, i'll be able to use the back to black, i was actually outside today putting in a 180 t-stat and after that was gonna due the back to black on the pillars and right in between of switching out t-stats, BAM!! pouring ass rain and it just got heavier and heavier

and what sucks even more is that i have to work tomorrow and my car is disabled at the moment with no t-stat installed, so i need to get up extra early, hopefully it's not raining, and finish installing the t-stat....and reading the weather news, it seems tomorrow as well its gonna be raining, we'll see when i'll be able to use the back to black

ah ok, i found there online store a few days ago and noticed the vinyl pillars were cheaper than the other person selling the InvisiGuard vinyl pillars.

I tried out the Back to Black stuff and it didn't really do anything on the pillars. On the weather stripping though it did work but for a few days only. So i'm definitely gonna go to the vinyl pillar route. Most likely gonna get the gloss black vinyl.
