Default Cut out covers and vinyl?

Has anyone with a single exhaust tried using vinyl to cover the cut out cover, or is everyone using the vinyl that just covers between the cut outs?

I'm wondering if the seams would show if you put vinyl over the passenger side cut out cover and extended it to the drivers side cut out.

I'm not sure I like it with a muffler in the back.

I was thinking of a cut out cover with color matched (silver) vinyl. I have a feeling the gap between the cut out and cut out cover would show through the vinyl though.

Or buy some cutout covers from Maxxfab, paint them silver using Mopar spray touuch up paint and a coat or 2 of clear coat and bolt the suckers on. Here they are painted. Have not put them on yet but have test fit them and they fit great.

Hmmm...or have you paint the ones that I'm ordering from Ga. and be eternally indebted.

They look good btw. Thanks for the pics. I'm wondering if the seam will show much with them just painted.

If you buy the paint and pay for shipping I will paint them. Have Scott send them here. Supplies plus shipping to you will cost 20ish. Paint is $8.75 and clear coat another 6-7 then shipping for another 4-8 depending on how small of a box I can find.

Man...that was a disappointing reply! I was waiting for a witty response and you offer to help me out!

I really appreciate it and I know I can't beat that deal, but I have to have an AVS spoiler painted so I'll just have a body shop do it all at once.

Take some pictures when you get the painted ones mounted.

Thanks again!

Maxxfab referred me to M_Dunnie. Mine will be here this week.
Single Maxxfab/Magnaflow turboback should arrive this week also.
