I'm in the market for a used or bgrade cf trunk, I actually don't want a keyhole or brake light...I want to add my own high mount led strip at the top of the rear window...

That Does Look Extremely Clean...i Don't Mind The 3rd Brake Light...is It Just The Trunk Popping Mechanism That Is Removed? Matt Someone Else Was Talking About The Led Strip..i Don't Remember If He Ever Went Thru With It Though

How much weight does this trunk save? Is it worth the money for the weight or for the looks?

I think IPP have the best CF trunk's, especially if you want it with out the key hole.

you may be thinking of me... if so i haven't done it yet, i have installed the trunk lid but haven't decided if i'm even gonna install a 3rd brake light. if i did i was possibly thinking of taking a normal (non LED) 3rd brake light and mount it in the upper portion of my rear window. before i install it, i'm going to go to a porshe dealership and pick up a "turbo" badge and put on the the 3rd brake light, then paint the light a flat black, then remove the badge so that the "turbo" is exposed the normal red color. then i would spray the light with 2 or 3 more coats of black night shades. so that when i was done the light would be all black and blend in with my rear windsheild which is tinted to 3% and when i hit the brakes it would say "turbo" ("porshe style"). i don't think it's a bad idea (thanks tunertony who thought of half of it) and i think it might work. if i do it i will definitely post pics.

That would look horrible...You should sell me your CF trunk for $300 j/k, that's really good idea with the brake light, actually
