Default cf fog light cover HELP!

i had reveived a pair of cf fog light covers from carbonbydesign and was totaly stoked because they were a gift so i went out and applied them just as it said, cleaned the area, let it dry, etc. but they never sat flush with with the car and i noticed as time went on they started to peel back a bit, so finaly one of them alsmost fell all the way of so i took them off and got some double sided auto tape to put them back on and they wont stay on at all now, so not only were they not fitted(smaller around then the area) and not flush(they bowed out quit a bit) but now they wont even go on. i was wondering if this was a common thing with the cf ones and if i should just go with the regular ones( which were taken off and broken up when i bought the car) if i want that fitted look, also i havent been able to get any call back from anyone at cbd to find out if i need to send them back in because they where faulty or what so any help would be greatly appriciated, sorry or the novel....

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right (Been up for about 22 hours ) but if you tried putting them on the bumper, I think that's the problem. They're supposed to go on the stock surrounds

i know were to install them heres a pic of them before they fell off

the top arrows are where the spaces around are adn the bottom arrow is where it bowed and eventualy peeled back heres the MP ones

they have those hinges to fit into the stock holes and the cf ones are just flat. now is that something that im just gonna have to get used to cuz there all like that and if i want the tight fit i should go with the MP ones, or did i just get a bad pair of cf ones?

The set i got from cbd were overlays. I know modern makes the ones that replace the old ones with the tabs.

Yeah the CBD ones are overlays, meant to stick to the stock ones and not to the bumper, they don't have the "tabs"
