Carbon Fiber Hood Weight Differences - SRT Forums

I Was bored today and weighed my stock hood, and then weighed my Fiber Images hood.

Stock hood=32 lbs

Fiber Images=10 lbs.

If anyone has any weigh-ins of their after-market hood post them up. It would be nice to get the weight of all the after-market hoods and maybe get a sticky? Some might find it useful information. So post up people!

yea. not a HUGE difference but 22 lbs is better then nothing. Well, maybe not for our cars since its being taken off the front wheels, but still. No one has any other weights?

I know my buddy has a CF hood, and I about throw that thing though the windshield every time I open it.

Ive always wondered about my SEIBON hood

What about a c/f trunk?

I didnt get to weigh mine on a scale but when we were doing the sawp.....JEEEZ !
That stock trunk/wing was so freaking heavy in comparission the the c/f trunk.

Never weighed the trunk so im not too sure...
