Mine has a little square or rectangular hole to get to the belts I guess and thats where water gets through whenever I hit a puddle. I saw somewhere in the forums someone made a plastic block off for it I couldn't find the thread again though.

My stock one covers the belts completely. Maybe yours has been modified?
I took off my stock platic one years ago, so I dont have something to go by
I'll give you mine bitts, I need something sturdier than that weak plastic, mine is permanently bent down, and makes awful sounds every time I'm on a bumpy road.

That's weird mine covers everything and I don't have any issues. If you have the radiator air deflector installed it should block anything else from flying up in there.
