I'm repairing my car and I need a new hood. If I don't get the OEM hood, which aftermarket carbon fiber hoods fit the best? Anybody have a clue how much a new OEM hood costs?

Sitting at the paint shop. Now I just have to wait.
i've never owned a carbon fiber but have heard about some fitment issues. but i just purchased a grip tuning perforated hood and it fits PERFECT! not sure if you like the design or if you can find any left because they arent made anymore but just letting you know
Fiber Images - OEM fit CF hood - PERFECT FIT AND FINISH
Carbon By Design - OEM fit CF hood - Poor fitment did not like the edges
Carbon By Design - Air Induction Hood - Neat looking, poor finish (Glue in the vents), Poor finish underhood.
Kaminari Race - Great fitment, beautiful finish, didn't not like the larger hood scoop.
I have a black car and will not put Carbon Fiber back on my car because I think Carbon Fiber and Black paint don't blend well.
If you get a carbon hood you need to adjuct it isnt just plop it on and hope for the best. We dont see why we get calls at carbon by design with fittment issues when they dont try any adjusting. You be more than happy with one of our hood. Ill make sure of that as Im the last one to see your hood before it goes out. Go with what ever style you like air induction or oem through carbon by design and youll be stoked... PM me if you have questions..
Carbon By Design OEM CF Hood: This hood was one of the first ten hoods they made way back when. The fittiment on it took awhile, but it fit awesome and covered up the gap between the bumper and the hood. My only gripes about CF, it raises through the gelcoat near the turbo because of high heat, and the two piece scoop underneath (which on the models made after mine was one piece) separated. This hood was a bit over $800 when I got it many moons ago. In the 3 years this was on the car, it NEVER yellowed even slightly.
TruFiber Fiberglass OEM Cuda hood: the hood fits well, has that stock looking gap which I don't really care for but its a very aggressive hood. This hood was a bit over $500. I bought fiberglass because CF is such a PIA I will never buy it again.
I've heard great things about the fit and finish on the following hoods:
IP2 CF Hood
Kaminari Race Hood
Seibon CF Hoods
CBD I've heard both good and bad, I guess it depends on who you talk to. I have a couple of their other products (shorty eyelids and diffuser both in Fiberglass and have NO issues with them at all) the only issue I had was the fibers lifting through the gelcoat.
Expect to spend at least $500 on a good hood. Don't go cheap and make sure it has a UV gelcoat or it will yellow.

Thanks everyone for the input. I had several people recommend the fiber images hood, so that's what I went with. I like some of the other designs fine, but I'm happy with the stock style, plus it will accept the factory scoop insert.
