Default Who Wants a Rollcage

Ok so i also talked with Heigo in Wurzburg. They are Germany's big rollcage builders. Can get a 6 to 10 point cage made depending on what you want. They are designed to so that you can still run full interior and still be streetable. The more of us they get the cheaper it gets for all of us. Looks like it would be between 700 and 1200euro depending on what you want. That is weld in installed too. Let me know, i will be taking my SRT up there pretty soon to get more exact price and let them get measurement. Pretty sure they can paint it for you too, whatever color you want. Let me know guys. i am planing on going GT37r this winter, and running some 10's so i definatly need this.

You have to be kidding right? I can think of only 2-3 cars that are driven like that or stay off the road enough to keep your head from turning into a watermelon. 700-1200 euro isn't exactly chump change either. Good luck with that.

I agree, just seeing if anyone wants one. Hell the germans put them in stock cars, sure someone would get one just for shock factor

Sorry man that price is too steep for me, I can get one when I go back to the states installed and painted for like 700 dollars. With the euro rate right now those prices would be killers.

Whoa...a rollcage....sorry but I don't think I'd get one just because I think it would look weird...retarded even....but everyone has they're tastes so I'm not gonna cut yours down. Who knows it might look good in yours.

schnuppi, please dont stop! I am pushing very close to 400 hp and regularly do 140 plus on the Autobahn. I am 32 and dont care what others think about me or my car a role cage would make me feel so much better. And as for your other thread, I really need someone competent to tune my cams when they get here! But unfortunately like Marraka said ther are not many SRT's out there willing to drop the EURO, not $$ but Euro (exchange rate sucks). I am interested in both threads but we need to get more interest o get the price down. I love my car and I would pay $1000 for a role cage but with the exchange rate I just cant do it for 1200 euro.

Looks like the guy Jason and I talked to outside of Wurzburg might be a winner. Guy seemed really good at what he does. he was even schooled in the states on how to tune cars. So maybe something will come of this. Jason is going to have his car tuned by him soon and then maybe we'll set up a day where we can just rent his shop out and have everyone get something done.

talked more to them yesterday. Looks more like it will be around 700-800 euro. That is for 10pt, 8 might be a bit cheaper. One of there techs really sounded excited to do an American car. Once mine gets here i will be able to take it to them and get exact estimate. Hell i may just take wifey's up there to let them get idea. Will keep you posted B4TN.

The guy that Marraka is talking about is really good. The name of the shop is Hans-Jurgen Kohler. The address is Quellwiessen 6, Unterwittighausen and the number is 09347/929380, ask for Marino. They have a dyno and can do tuning. He has good prices and sometimes gives a discount.

Wish it was still your car. Going to take me forever to fix all the problems with this thing. Tons of money too. Should have never bought this thing.
