Serious question, I have the Stg 1 MSD coil and AEM intake. That’s about it, but i just put on the Stg 2 wastegate on and i have it adjusted AS FAR OUT as it will go and i am still "spiking" at about 21 psi in 3rd and 4th. However when I wined out the gear it goes back down between 15 and 16 PSI but is this ok on the stock internals? I’m not looking to blow a head or anything. Anyone know what our motors can take from the factory? Thanks guys
your fine, that not even 260hp. i run 441hp on stock bottom end all day long on pump, also made 300 on stock turbo on stock motor and ran that for like a year before i did the 3076r. should have no problems, but that is up to your car though, crazier shiz has happened
So.....how much boost can I run on stock fuel system, K&N CAI, Stage 1, MSD, and my new WGA. I am putting on my new WGA Saturday and was under the impression that we could only as high as 18!! What is the best PSI to set the WGA at???
Stock turbo shouldn't run more then around 18. And it is **HIGHLY** suggested you don't run any of those without a wideband to watch your A/F ratios, especially on a stage 0. At 22 your stock turbo is out of it's efficiency range, and your EGTs could be running very high as well. There are better ways to get more power then upping boost and stock turbo.

Yep, and there are a hundred threads of conflicting information, so when someone has the information, or has done a mod; you want to ask them how they are doing it and learn so you don't make the same mistakes. Just like the spiking 20 when you are only supposed to max at 18, etc. Just making sure by writing a few lines.
yeah after searching i got any where from 18 to 26 PSI on stock turbo and stock int's with just the Stg 1 or 2 upgrade. Im looking for the Stg 3 kit soon so as long as this turbo set up last for about another summer im good BUT its going to be a hard summer...
