thats for sure. yeah, I really wanted to run the car though so I could see the difference with S1 and S2. DOH!!!!!!!! Oh well, I guess I will have to wait to see it on the dyno. I wonder what it will be like on there.

Russ, that is great so far. Try to get more runs in and see what it does. make sure you try 4th and 5th gear pulls because sometimes it will hold in one gear but not others. Just want I read online.

There is no real need for a 4th and 5th gear pull b/c you finish the quarter just after shifting to 4th. I would say to try HOM on from a dig and run like you would at the track. That will be the true test. Did you actually feel a diffrence or was the light just on?

Well, he may not feel a difference with the butt dyno but he may see the difference in times. Best way to do it would be to run the car at the track without HOM, then try to do the same thing again with HOM on. See the difference. Hard part is simulating the exact same circumstances each time. If you he had a tech gauge for timing advance he would be able to see on there the difference in timing between the to settings

Also to try it when we go to the dyno, have them run once with it off and once with it on. Like I did with my DP open and closed.

This next time we go I want to have them do a 3rd gear pull and a 4th gear pull with the DP open and see where I am at on each. That also might be why our numbers are different than in the states if we are doing pulls in a different gear than they are in the states. Thoughts??? Or am I just wrong, shutup Jon. LOL

Russ this is for you: Everyone check your QW FMIC- poor quality

Just looking out if you hadn't seen it yet.

Most dynos everywhere will put the car in 4th gear to run it. Reason is because 4th gear is closer to a 1:1 ratio, it gives you more accurate numbers and more time to collect data. That is the way things are supposed to be done. Some places will run it in 3rd for either higher numbers or b/c they do not want the wheels going 120+ MPH. As for the butt dyno. There is way to much of a power increase not to feel it in the ass. Normally when people get kicked outta HOM, it feels like they just hit a massive wall of air. The feel would be comparible to downshifting on the highway without rev matching.

You want some big numbers, get it to skip on the dyno.

LOL, I am sure the guys there would love that. LOL

You never know I may have higher numbers than you now. Probably not. but maybe. Might be really close to be equal. The way I see it the only two things that could hurt me right now would be the 2 degrees I pull somewhere between 5000-6000 rpm and a smaller intercooler.

Well, How about the 26th of August we try for the Dyno. I highly doubt that we would be able to get in this weekend coming up.

I need a head count though of who would be interested in going. Jon can you can check with Saki and Aaron to see if they are down for another dyno run? Saki might since his car is running better, not sure about Aaron since he hasn't really done anything to it. Each of us have had some kind of modification done to our cars or got them running more efficiently so I could see another dyno run for most of us. I tried calling today but I guess PTS is closed. I can try tomorrow to see about setting up an appointment with them for the 26th if you want. Just need a head count so I can tell the how many are coming and see if we can get a discount.

I'll go but I'm not gonna dyno my car. I don't really want to pay for it. I just don't think it's worth the money for an no-tune dyno pull. I think you and Jon need it the most. If Russel gets his map clamp installed it would be beneficial to him as well. I just don't feel I need to see a number to know my car is running better. For the price of a few dyno pulls without tuning I could buy a wideband and mapclamp and tune it my self.

LOL, I know man. it has been off and on for brandon for the last few hours too. start to rain then clears up and then another big ass cloud rolls in. I don't think we would have been able to do anything if we had gone since by the time they dried the track it would be raining again.

Thats cool, I didn't think alot would want to go but figured I would put it out there. Out of all of us I got the most inaccurate numbers so I am interested in going to see what I can put down. worse case I can just run out there to try quickly and then come back. Cost alittle more but for me it would be worth it since I have no idea where I stand with power.

I called and they said it was pouring and not to even come out. I told them we will be out the beginning of september. They said it's peak performance day and will cost a little more. It will be worth it since it's Jons last day with his "shannon".
