Jon, I would probably say you are right about the spring thing but at the moment my car and I feel like a booble head doll while driving. It definately needs to be alittle stiffer in the front and rear. Not much but alittle bit more. As far as height, the rears need to drop about another inch and the fronts need to go up just alittle bit more so that the front end doesn't scrap the ground. Right now the splash shield under the car (the flat black peice of plastic that hangs down infront of the tires) scraps the ground every time I go over a speed bump at any speed over a crawl. Before I didn't have that issue.
Donte, sure thing I can help with that. I would say to get the endlinks though before installing the COs so that you don't have to do what I am going to have to do and lift the car again install the endlinks after spending alot of time getting the stock ones back on the car and then adjusting the height again. Just a suggestion but yes you can install them with the stock endlinks but the a$$ end of your car will be high and will be a pain in the a$$ to adjust (very stiff). Otherwise they look good. I am very pleased with them and can't wait to get them setup the way I want them.
Well, my MPx FMIC and DTEC came intoday. Both look cool. I was going to install the FMIC tonight but after not getting around to it until close to 730pm I decided to hold off. maybe Saturday I will do it. Started looking at all the wires on the DTEC and already started getting an anxiety attack. LOL
well I recieved my AeroForce Gauge and got some wierd info. I'm still pulling 6 degrees of timing with the W/I and intake temp low 60s with 22psi falling to about 16-17. The knock voltage is under 1 though and it says I'm only making 297hp. I hope this thing is off. I know I can adjust it once I get her dyno'd but I was hoping for about 320ish. But, with my clutch slipping I guess its still pretty good.

Well keep in mind that with running over 18 psi on S1 or S0 it will pull timing. Now I know what you are going to say (probably), that with the piggy back (APEXi Neo) that it should be clamping the Map signal. Yes, in theary this should work and you shouldn't pull timing unless you are running too lean (plus remember the gas over here sucks ass so it might be part of the cause too). But remember none of us are great tuners so trouble shooting timing issues is kind of hard. I had the same problem with my S1 (another reason I upgraded to S2 before MOPAR jacked the price up another $200-$300. That solved alot of my problems with the 3 bar map and tip sensors I guess.
I would try lowering your boost alittle bit and see if your knock goes away.
Oh and the HP thing is probably not all that accurate plus it is measuring hp at the crank, not the wheels (talked to boostjunkie about that). So, yes it should be more than your 297hp since that would mean your whp would be very low. It is probably reading that only because your clutch is slipping. After the new one is in you should see a better number.

Cool man take some new pics after you get it installed!
if you want it stiffer (lol, stiffer) in the front and rear, change the rebound settings first. If that does not get it as stiff as you need it, then mess with the spring tension. All height should be done with the height ring on those coilovers. That way you can change the height without changing the ride characteristics.

Yea I tried that but I also noticed that as I increased the spring tension the car would raise. Then I would have to lower the car again to get the same ride heigth. Now the car wasn't raising like it would if I had adjusted the ride height but probably 1/4 to 1/2 of the distance I tightened the spring rate...ie 1 inch increase in spring rate = 1/4 to 1/2 increase in ride height.

How much timing advance are you seeing with your aeroforce? Just wondering cause mine seems awfully high to me. Thanx
O and lower my boost...yea that ain't gonna happen.
LOL, I see about 27 timing advance at the moment towards redline. I get about 1-3 degrees of knock at the moment with RAFL gas and running about 22psi on the turbo. When I get the DTEC installed I will mess with the fuel again and see if I can get a better tune going through out the RPM range.
LOL, yeah, boost is as addicting as drugs are. LOL
I will get some pics up of the install and the intercooler after I am done with it. I think I am going to start pulling the bumper and stuff off tonight at home and then tomorrow work on putting the FMIC and bumper back on. I am not going anywhere tonight so it will make less work tomorrow. I think I can do everything here at home. Shouldn't be too difficult. Tried last night to do it but with the weather being crappy and kind of cold I gave up.
Well, I got the MPx FMIC installed tonight. It was a bitch getting the front bumper off but after that it was pretty easy.
Well, you aren't getting pictures in the light since the car is really dirty (lots of bug splats all over the place).
And here is one while I had the bumper off and had the FMIC bolted to the car.
Car feels real good driving. Only took it for a quick 5-10 min spin to just see what it would feel like. I still got to see if I lost any psi (sorry, wasn't paying attention to the boost gauge when I was flooring it ).
Oh while I was at work I worked this out between some instructions on the DTEC install under the HOW-TO section and the SRT-4 service manual pinouts for the PCM connectors. Hopefully I will be able to install this tomorrow if I can possibly see all the colors of the wires. stupid colorblindness. LOL
Nice =) that thing is massive, lets hope nobody hits the front of your car now without the crash bar =)
My brake light was coming on coming off hard corners... my brake fluid is low. Debating if I should put dot4 in or keep it at dot3. I don't have the jacks or stands to bleed the system out, or the second person so I might have to stick with dot3 until I can persuade my wife to pump the brakes for me, I have a feeling though 1/2 way through she will complain that her legs are hurting.... we shall see...

yeah eventually i will get the Bwoody bar but I don't want to deal with taking the bumper off again for awhile. Took about 3 hours to do the entire install. Not too bad.
I would stick with DOT3 since that is what the manual states should be used. I had the same thing, no light but a ding from the dash all the time during hard excelleration so when we did my clutch install I filled it up at the same time.
On another note, Jeff, I believe should have his Spec Clutch installed today and Justin should have his BC CO's in by the time they leave the AHS. I helped out for awhile but had to take off to meet the wife.
