Hey Guys,
For those who didn't go, you missed out. Wow, another great experience. I cobbled a few pics i took, along with others who went along with me for the ride. First, the 'Ring is very addicting. You want to go faster and try to meet the limits of the car (which my sorry ass couldn't do). 2nd, I am now officially in love with the Porsche GT3 RS. They are loud and fast and they absolutely killed everyone on the ring. 3rd, I suck at driving and have lots to learn but had a blast driving. 4th, the Evo X is awesome on the track....I won't believe the hype the naysayers are saying about its handling. more to come on this. Anyways, enjoy the pics (I stole a couple from you Pat):
At a rest stop on our way to the Ring
I saw some badass cars parked outside
Richard Burns Limited Subaru STi
Evo 7

R33

Another one R33 (600 BHP). What the hell is June Hoon? Hoon is British slang for driving irresponsibly..anyways these Brits were really cool to hang out with.

R32
Anthony's '03 Cobra Droptop
R8

Lambo
Badass Porsche
Nice GT3 RS

My car

Le mans GT40
Bunch of E30 M3s
Here I am entering the Ring on left lane, anthony is taking the right lane. You place a card at the tollgate, gate goes up and off you go.

Yes, it's a tourist bus:
Last but not least, I met Steve, an owner of a Evo X SSt FQ300. I was admiring his Black Evo X and asked him how the Evo X handled. He said after owning 2 350Zs, he was hooked. He then asked me, "Care for a passenger lap?". Fuuuuuuck ya!
Okay, first some interior shots (RHD babee)
OMFG, it has the Ring on the Nav System (sex sex sex):
Exterior shots:
Here is Steve pointing out the lines on the Ring, even showing the area where Nicki Lauda crashed and nearly died in F1:
The Evo x handled very well and I was surprised and how good it handled the track. The advans gripped very well and the paddle shifter was very easy to use (per Steve).
Steve has over 100+ laps under his belt and he tore up the track, keeping pace with a very good driver in a 911 Turbo. He is a season pass holder (costs 1000 euros or about $1500 bucks). His lines on the track are amazing and he can outdrive me any day or night (I have a stage 1+ with KW V3s)...plus I suck at driving anyways.
Thanks Steve!
I hope you enjoyed the pics!
