Default Spitz, are you the one that...

Videotaped yourself changing the oil and cranked it over without any left? I've been hearing from my Bimmer friends there was a guy that taped himself doing this, seizing the engine?

I read your sig and thought it might be you, was it?

I don't think that was him, would be funny if it was.

no i just used the post as my sig because it was funny. yeah artimis i did break that motor mount. but i was downshifting to get around a stupid bitch in the way, but i had 5 people in a 4 seater car. soooo the motor mount gave way to the helacious torque of the 2.5 straight 6 beamer motor!!! i have it hanging on my wall now. it was easier than i thought to replace. i might try to get the beam out to bitburg, it is an 86 325i convertible, hartge edition. i asked the german mechanic that replaced the driveshaft balancer when we (me and my roommates) first got it and he said the hartge edition is a tuner edition. kinda like srt-4 or sti for a wrx. so its a rare beamer he says. all i know is it skeet skeets down the autobahn!!!!

Hartge is a renoun tuner here in Saarland (im Merzig) ,does Carlsson Mercedes say anything to u? there shop is a few kms from Hartges.. both of the owners are brothers..they are both Hartges(but having Hatrge BMW and Hartge Mercedes would be silly wouldnt it..)

i know someone who works at Carlsson

www.Carlsson.de
www.Hartge.de

both Carlsson and Hartge are recognised Manufactureres..thats why u dont see Harte and Carlsson Cars with the BMW or Merc emblem..they have there own emblems(since the 90s)

Hartge NEVER made a Edition Model of the E30 BMW Convertible! It has to be a Conv. with some Hartge stuff on it! I worked for a Hartge Sub company for years!
