my car finally arrived here....went to pick it up in manheim. got there and my front bumber is hanging half of the car and is torn. Somehow they broke my agp 02 housing where it bolts to the turbo. So now they are sending it to the repair shop to fix it....I talked to the repair shop and they are going to try and order the 02 housing from agp...going to be another month i think before i even get my car....they did provide me with a rental car though....a 1.3l opel corsa

I PAID for shipping and got it just as bad man.

Picture this... I paid $8500 to have my car painted. It rolled out of the paint shop, on a truck and was shipped to port. Then rolled onto a boat ZERO miles later. So fresh paint all the way from the shop to Germany NO MILES DRIVEN right... I get the car, CF Front lip is cracked in the middle, front bumper is scratched through the paint, both side skirts are cracked and my rear bumper is scuffed. I was HIGHLY pissed.

sorry they said it usually doesnt happen...this is just what i could see initially. i still have to do the inspection after it gets back from the repair shop. So hopefully nothing eles got broke....If your car is lowered shibby i would be careful...i noticed my intercooler was a little scratched on the bottem...of course mine sits a little low cause its meant for a srt-4 not a first gen.

They marked my car at a 4" ground clearance, and I guess put signs in it saying that.. Im gonna flip if my shit is messed up when I get it. I took PICs and Video out the ass tho, I even used the Diablo to choke it off at 4000 RPM's...so what ever is broke we BOTH will know it wasnt like that when it was shipped..

they DROPPED mom's MGB off the boat when it they offloaded it in cali after coming from Hawai'i. landed on its driver's side. then the asshats tried to hide it by repainting it BADLY. like that was going to work.

overseas shipping of cars just seems like such a disaster.

I picked mine up from the shipping yard in Bremerhafen. I'm being honest... never.... EVER go there. There are things there you DO NOT want to see. SOTA....at least your moms car landed on the ground and not in the water. There were cars there in varying shapes and conditions. There was a Honda in the shape of an L. There was a Caddy that was still dripping. They looked at me like I wasn't serious when I told them I had some scrapes and scratches on mine.... like it wasn't that big of a deal and I should forget about it.
