So what does everyone do and where have you been stationed at?

3. Spangdahlem AB, Germany Nov 94 - Aug 98 (Closed down the F-15 53rd FS)
4. Nellis AFB, Nellis Air Command, Las Vegas, NV Sep '98 - Present

I don't know if this would really be classified as infosec or comsec. Nothing is being divulged that has to do with national security. He's a standard sergeant as a crew chief. Nothing you are told not to tell. 16 views is coming from interested people... not current or prior service. Base closures is public information. Nothing he's said will endanger national security... When he starts talking about deployment times, squadrons, numbers and such......... Well, that's a different story.

Hey, I'm not a soldier but 2 blue stars and 1 silver stripe is looking good on my uniform.

And I hope end of august i have a silver star...

In Germany this isn't a top secret information.
Everybody can see it on the uniform.
But for me it is forbidden to post pictures from me or collegues in uniform...

Because this is not violating INFOSEC or COMSEC. And I know better. This is just general info.

Haha...you sir FAIL. Now if Sir Charles told me how many planes were here at Nellis, or anything of the sort, then yes. Saying where somebody is/was stationed has nothing to do with INFOSEC....

I'm guessing you're job is what we call Readiness in the AF. You handle the training of personnel for CBRNE, etc?

Yes, INFOSEC involves PAX and IE equipment but you have placed enough information on the internet for me to track you and possibly harm you and your family....and possibly use it to gain entry to the base. It seems farfetched and highly unlikely but personally I would err on the side of caution. Just trying to protect fellow AF'ers...
