I'm new to this site and the srt4, im in the army just graduated but im gettin startioned in germany someone let me know a lil info on germany. i have a stock 05 srt4 going through the process of getting it shipped out there, as soon as it arrives ima start building 350whp setup.

Thats a good place to be as thats where most of the overseas guys are at. Lots to see and do over that way too. How long have you had the SRT? Whats the plans for modding it?

Just FYI the Army community in K-town is very small. The majority of the Army guys are down the road in Baumholder. IF you are going there then you will be on an Air Force post which is good for you. They have nicer facilities.

ive had the srt bout 7 days lol, so far i just have the mopar bov conversion kit and a hks filter. but wen i get to germany ima get agp fmic, then ima do fuel upgrades, last thing ima do is turbo upgrade. today i just did the wastegate mod that worked out nice

Try to get your big stuff in the states to save on shipping or the hassle of convincing someone to ship to you. And if you want any big CF pieces like a hood or trunk... get em now. Shipping on that stuff is insane. Same with wheels. It'll cost you $200+ to get a set of wheels from Cali just in shipping.

Meets are nice and often very "close" (we all know eachother). But also big meetings. And you can be sure to be an eyecatcher especially on the open meetings - cause the SRT is absolutely rare in Germany.
Next big meetings i know are in August in Hannover and then September in Fulda.

yea thats gunna be nice, can someone tell me how the whole shipping a POV is gunna go lik the inspection and how long it takes for the car to arrive.

Takes about 4-8 weeks depending on time of year and how many cars they are processing. Inspection... just needs to be really really clean. Since its stock you don't have much to worry about. Don't put any window tint on the front 2 windows and you'll be fine when you get over here. I wouldn't lower it before you ship it either. Wait to do that after you are here. Other than that its pretty uneventful.
